You & Me card

Here is a card that I made to enter into the challenge over on the KWernerDesign Blog. Her challenge was to create a one-layer card. I made a rectangular mask by tearing a rectangle out of white cardstock. I temporarily adhered it to my card base and inked all over the card front with broken china distress ink. Then I stamped over the top of it with the Hero Arts swirls backround stamp in peeled paint distress ink. I removed the mask and then stamped my frog stamp in black staz on ( I don't know who made this stamp as it was in a box set from Costco). I colored in the frog stamp with colored pencils. I then stamped the sentiment 'you & me' in black staz on. To finish the card off, I paper pierced around the swirls on the backround stamp.

Janet I love what you have done with this card. I saw that challenge, but don't have the expertise or time yet to enter. I think yours is terrific. Love the way you did it.

Hi, just popped over to answer your question:-) Love your frog card!

I generally use a small bit of Blue Tac to adhere the card to the surface I photograph it on. It doesn't leave any residue so it's perfect for this.
All you do is roll it into a ball open the card as you would to photograph any card and stick the back flap of the card right in the Blue Tac! Presto!
I suppose you could substitute it with Removeable glue dots too..
